CATL Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with C&D Group
On November 15, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL) and Xiamen C&D Group Co., Ltd. (C&D Group) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Ningde, Fujian Province. David Han, commercial application business president of CATL, and Yongda Zheng, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of C&D Inc., signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Robin Zeng, chairman of CATL, and Wenzhou Huang, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of C&D Group, witnessed the signing.
According to the agreement, CATL and C&D Group will focus on strategic development needs, give full play to their respective advantages, and conduct cooperation and exchanges in various fields such as business model innovation in battery application scenarios, new energy vehicle industry and supply chain. In the future, the two parties will provide first-class solutions for new energy market applications based on innovative development, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation mode, and help realize the goal of peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality.
At the signing ceremony, CATL's subsidiary Contemporary Amperex Energy Service Technology Ltd. (CAES) and its shareholding companies, Global Contemporary Technology Co., Ltd. (GCTL) and Contemporary Intelligence Technology (Fujian) Ltd. (CITL), respectively signed a package of cooperation agreements with C&D Group's subsidiaries, including C&D Auto.
